Pacijenti sa kolorektalnim tumorima pokazivali su u visokom procentu slučajeva povišene preoperativne vrednosti tumorskih markera CEa i Ca. :19–19.

Tokom operacija kolorektalnog karcinoma prosečno je disekovano 14,62 limfne žlezde po pacijentu, od čega je prosečno 2,59 limfne žlezde bilo metastatski promenjeno. 45% pacijenata je imalo metastaze u limfnih žlezdama.

Postoji statistički značajna povezanosti između preoperativnih vrednosti tumorskih markera CEa i Ca 19-9 i stadijuma bolesti izražene kroz dukesovu klasifikaciju. U C2 stadijumu, gde postoji više od 4 metastatski promenjena limfna nodusa, dolazi do visokog skoka vrednosti CEa i Ca. :19–19.

Metastatka zahvaćenost limfnih nodusa je statistički značajno povezana sa preoperativnim vrednostima CEa, dok preoperativne vrednosti Ca 19-9 nisu u statistički značajnoj korelaciji sa brojem metastatski promenjenih limfnih nodusa. Literatura.
